students bring back white socks, grease G alf-length skirts, pony tails, bobby socks, leather jackets, and greasy hair incited fun and laughter throughout lee ' s chaotic 50 ' s day. the project originated in the pep club through an effort to promote girls ' basketball. to surge imagination and participation, prizes were offered to contest winners. jayne holston captured the senior prize, in the junior class, paul ziccardy was decidedly the greasiest, mary hasset was the sophomores ' most realistic bopper. talk of the malt shop and overwhelming participation prompted mrs. jo meeks, pep club advisor, to term the day a success . ‘ ' ' ' 4 .•v.
