FOCUS ON DEMOCRACY In the age in which we live, improved communica- tion and transportation have brought the nations of the earth closer together. Therefore, there is a great need for students to be informed about the world, and the Social Studies department at Lee High is meeting this need. In World Geography class, the students work with maps and study about individual countries. World History includes lessons ranging from ancient peoples to present-day happenings. American History gives the students a thorough back- ground in the history of our nation.
