She is a persevering student, also, and is very successful. He is al¬ ways smiling, and nothing seems to worry him. He takes things as they come and makes tbe best of them, proving himself a true optimist. She has a sense of humor delightfully original, and a rather caustic wit, which is not to be taken seriously.
