He has the fighting spirit, and is a good sport with it all, as shown by his athletic record, There is no activity in the high school which “Fats” does not put his whole heart into. We are proud to say that he is one of the most popular boys at school. Whatever “Fats” says has a great influence over the students and what he says is always for the good of the school. As an athlete “Fats” is unexcelled. The best spirit of the ’26 football team won him the Runnels Gold Football. He has never been known to play a game unfairly. : 2 We know that “Fats” will be as true to Hampden-Sidney as he is to a certain person in the same vicinity. We hope that his familiar “ha,” “ha” will be greeted there with as big a welcome as it has at Lee High. KSe L TMISSQS
