214 The Lee High Polo Team has been active for three years. This year the team will compete for The National High School Polo Championship ' ' and attempt to win the trophy for the third con- secutive year. The Lee team is unusual as it is the first team from a public high school to ever compete for this trophy, and the team has won it in 1974 and in 1975. Each year the tournament is held in a different location. The first time Lee played for the trophy the team flew to Pebble Beach in Califomia and played on the famous Del Monte polo field. Last year the tournament was held here in Midland. This year the team travels to Wayne, Pennyslvania and plays at Val- ley Forge Military Academy in March.
