Influencing skill and endurance, pride and unlimited spirit, the fearless stormed forward to unite Lee. Sharing elated triumph and forlorn defeat, the student body began evoking an intense spirit of union. For six long months, 64 young men devoted most of their time running, watching old films and lifting weights, spend- ing endless hours practicing, just to represent Lee High School throughout the district. These young men,.together with Coach Acree and his assistants, formed the mighty Ma- roon Platoon. Each opponent realized the Maroon Platoon was a tuff team to handle. The Rebels ended the season with a 6-3-1 record, which, we are proud to say, represented Lee High School very well. This page: Rebel men at work and at play.
