1m Acree- Head Football Coach Coach Acree graduated from a high school in Maud, Okla., where he was an All- State End. He is a 1954 graduate of the University of Oklahoma and is in his 22nd year of coaching. He coached six years at Bonham, four as an assistant and two as head coach and athletic director, with a 20-2-0 record. The next seven years were at Corsicana where his record was 69-15-2 with a State Championship in 1963. He coached three years at SMU and Texas Tech. Then he returned to high school coach- ing at Midland Lee in 1970. His 14-year coaching record is 121-45-4. Coach Acree coached the All-Star game in 1964, was elected Football Coach of the year and served on the Board of the Texas High School Coaches' Association. Lee won District Hon- ors in .1975 for the first time in .the school's history under the direction of Coach Acree. Coach Acree was elected Coach of the Year for District 5-AAAA in 74-75. 190
