Debbie Bergeron punk ’ out during the Beat the Range»» week One way to Plug into '82 was to see the students in action. Action took all shapes and forms. It may have ranged to the last minute preperation of a govern- ment assignment to the last second touch- ups before a date, or the big night out on the town. It might have been everyone going to and from classes or spending that extra second with a special friend, even if it did mean an extra deremit or two. What- ever the situation the energy of the stu- dent body was seen in the PEOPLE. The faces of students in school were as diverse as the actions. You might see the same faces day after day. and all of a sudden see a face that you didn't quite recognize. That allowed time to meet and greet a new fnend. After all, didn't the same old faces get a little boring? This new acquaintance gave one the opportu- nity to try old-new lines out. Would they fall for same old gags as the old people? Maybe not. but it was fun to meet and associate with new people. As the year dragged on after the Christ- mas holidays, spring began to show, WOW!! All of a sudden everyone realized that the semester would soon be out after the Easter holidays and the end was in sight. With graduation soon approaching ev eryone began to feel a little sadness with the gladness. Those faces that were seen day after day in lunch, in Bng. in football would never be quite the same With a tear of sadness for an end and a tear of toy for a beginning, looking back over the year the people are really what made the year the unforgettable exper- ience that Plugging into 82 really was.
