I hrouqhout our 1 school days, we come to know people, some ol whom we learn to call friends. Students grow to realize that “friendship is not only inclusive of their felbw classmates but is con- junctive with other age groups. In a word, friendship is love. Through friendships we have a priceless trea- sure. someone to talk with, to share problems with, to laugh with and to learn with. Fnendship is something that isn't all fun. Many hard times accompany the good. Fnendship is like a growing plant. It begins as a tiny seed and it slowly matures into a strong plant. Through the process there are always rough spots. Whatever the problems, good, true fnendships out last the try- ing times. Of course, being a fnend and having a friend isn't al- ways as serious a matter as it may seem. Simple times talking about clothes, girl and boy problems, school pressures, a girl you dislike and planning for a fun-filled weekend are important to making a strong bond be- tween friends. However as the year draws to a close and people realize that with the completion of the year one phase ends, another one begins. Friendships give way to college, mar- riage. and working plans. Some fnendships prove to be the lasting kind that will withstand any kind ol pres- sure and problems. Whatever your definition of friendship, most true rela- tionships are the key to fu- ture happiness. Giving and taking must be equal to un- lock the door to a heart and then seal the memories of a lifebng fnendship. ji'kc i;n i. hum shared with frierds Gem Santana and Kaye Kelley pal around.
