with Ganderland Intensity The emotional unification of R.EA. during the fall of ’79 is an event which will be long remembered. With the fine tradition of Gander spirit reaching a peak unseen in years, the student body of Lee en|oyed one of the greatest highs in memory thanks to the superlative season of the Ganders. Such events as the hard earned District Championship, the satisfying victory over Sterling and the unbelievable comeback against top ranked LaPorte before an Astrodome crowd of 22.000 are ad vivid reminders of this team.
