Dedication During our high school years there have been many people who have contributed unselfishly of their time and energy to prepare us to take our place among the citizens of this world. The 1962 LEE TRAVELER staff believes that no one, however, has been more generously devoted to her profession, her friends, or God than MISS EULA POTTER, dean of girls. In return for the priceless gifts of knowledge and inspiration which she has bestowed upon us, we dedicate to her this book. Many lives have been touched and molded to better citizenship, respect, and honor by her years of devoted service to the Student Council of Robert E. Lee High School. Throughout the district, state, and national organizations she is respected as an authority and veteran of Student Council work. In 1950, Miss Potter became dean of girls at REL, and in this position has given wise counsel, assistance, and encouragement to all those young women who would come her way. It is she who quietly performs for us the many kindnesses about which we never learn. To you, Miss Potter, we deeply express our gratitude for your years of devoted service to the young people of our community, and realize that those of us who have not had the opportunity to know you closely have perhaps missed one of life’s greatest blessings.
