OLIVE PRUETT, faculty sponsor of the Lee Traveler, year- book, and The Gander Gazette, school newspaper. Mrs. Pruett came to Robert E. Lee in 1945 to teach biology. Today her versatility has been extended to the teaching of English and journalism and the sponsoring of publications. She has given her time and talents willingly and indispensably to this by no means easy task and, through her efforts, has afforded many pleasureable hours to students of Robert E. Lee. Each of the yearbooks sponsored by her has been a creation of lasting interest. She deserves far more credit than can be given her in this small space. By this dedication, members of the '52 staff respectfully and affectionately express their sincere appreciation and gratitude for her help and inspiration.
