Climaxing four years of constant endeavor, the Senior Class of 1948 is a group never to be forgotten. The year 1944- was the beginning of their high school careers with the prominent color of green taking the limelight. Ray Karnofski, as president, got the class off to a big start. Under the guiding hands of Billce VVinne, the new sophomore class presented an outstanding assembly and dance. Then came the memorable 'unior 'ear with the unfor ettable unior Prom. With iiPlantation Promen- J 3 g ade,, as their theme, the class produced a prom of glorious success. President for the year was Darold Talley. As mighty seniors, the class of ii48i, were showing their all-around skills in scholarships, Clubs, dances, dramatics, and athletics. They produced an unbeaten, untied football team, an outstanding senior play, a splen- did dance, and several scholarships. With the fine leadership of Miss Dorothy Sonnemann, advisor; Don Bell, president; Bob Clayton, vice president; Velma Johnson, secretary; Dick VVilburn, treasurer; and Ray Overhyc, yell king, the class came forth with flying colors. e h ' N v . u 4 ' The Senior Class has reached its goal and leaves a record to which we may turn With pride in the years to come.
