Much work and play make for a rewarding float. Victorious Robin toys with a Skipper on the win--ning German club float. Homecoming Highlights Let's Play While Tonka Toys is the 1966 Homecoming slogan. October 7 is the day set for the unique festivities to occur! The weather is perfect as the day begins with an arousing German Club pep-fest. Spanish Club members sing with accordion accompaniment. The dress code is broken as students don band uniforms, Robinaire costumes, various hats, and cheerleading uniforms. Afternoon brings the coronation and auditorium program. This is followed by the parade in which the floats, representing long hours of work, are displayed. The judges choose the German Club float as best. 23
