The aim of the language courses is to promote and create world understanding among countries. The courses in French, German, and Spanish are given for two years with two credits given when both years are completed. T0 round out the program there are three language clubs, Le Cercle Francais, Der Deutsch Verein, and Espanol, the major activities of which are: Mardi Gras, German Week, and eating at a Spanish restaurant, respectively. Both the students and the teachers feel that language is an important study because the world is steadily growing smaller. I , ' 3 12PM . w!
