Miss Loe, Miss Manion. Mrs. Springer, Mr. Dawson, Miss Mickelson. Unfailing hands of mercy and an answer to our many problems, scholastic and personal, aptly describe the coun- seling department. We, as students, are indebted to the thoughtful guidance of those who devoted time to provide a college night for seniors, plan out yearly schedules, and advise us, the students, how to show improvement.

WW 5:: Out Home Economics Department con- sists of four rooms, each of which has its own purpose and facilities. First, we have a classroom for writing and lecturing. Sec- ondly, one of the basic parts of the depart- ment is the kitchen which consists of seven units. A sewing laboratory with nine ma- chines is the third room in this department. Finally, there is a small room which is for the purpose of interior decorating. We are very fortunate to have a wide variety of courses offered to us in this field. These courses include sewing, co'oking, good grooming, etiquette, food preservation, child care, family and marriage, and interior dec- orating and are taught by Miss Hughes and Miss Sundal. l6 Our Industrial Arts Department offers many courses of which the following are included: machine shop, woodshop, basic electricity, basic metals, architectural drawing, and machine drawing. All the equipment in these shops is new and of the latest design. Mr. Hanson, Mr. Lehner, Mr. Riccelli, and Mr. Wivell are the instructors of the various parts of this department. To prepare students for future jobs, there are many opportunities that can be found in our Industrial Arts Program. Miss Sundal, Miss Hughes
