FUTURE FARMERS OF AMERICA 'Y The Poseyville F. F. A. had a very interesting and rewarding year. There were fifteen members from Poseyville, four from Cynthiana, and nineteen from Wades- ville. The officers elected were President, David Davis, Vice President, Edward Schutzg Secretary, Terry Crawfordg Treasurer, Charles Reynoldsg Reporter, Lonnie Murphy, Sentinel, Alan LaMar. David Davis was elected Section Four Secretary. David Davis, John Wilkinson and Lonnie Murphy attended the State Officers' Training School at Purdue in June. On October 3, 1957, the Chapter took part in the District Land Judging Contest at Purdue. They also attended a football game while there. On December 9, 1957, the Chapter had a skating party at Mt. Vernon. The Chapter took first place in the Chapter Contest and the Chapter Meeting Contest at Chrisney on February 3, 1958. At Jasper on February 24, 1958, the Chapter took second place in the Chapter Meeting Contest. The Chapter entered the State Safety, Cooperative Activities, and Chapter Contests. FUTURE HOMEMAKERS OF AMERICA '93 The program planned for the Poseyville Chapter of the Future Homemakers of America has been a success this year. The officers elected were President, Linda Kingsleyg Vice President, Judy Uhde, Secretary, Luanne Davisg Treasurer, Ann Nash, Historian, Connie Lewis, Editor, Judy Krietensteing Parliamentarian, Judy Seibg Public Relations Chairman, Judy Robinsong Chapter Mothers were Mrs. Otto Uhde and Mrs. Robert Kingsley. The Chapter has two district officers-Historian, Linda Kingsleyg and Secretary, Luanne Davis. Money was made by sponsoring a supper for the general public on November 16, 1957. Representatives attended the Fall District Meeting at Jasper and the Spring District Meeting at Spencer. The main social events were a program High School Homemaking Today Helps Homemakers Tomorrow, a Mother and Daughter Banquet, and a Spring Style Show. The State Convention will be held in Bloomington in June and the Chapter will ge represented. The National Convention will be held in Kansas City, Kansas, in une.
