You're childhood's choice-life is your bowl of cherries-you skip down sidewalks and into people's hearts. You're kids-with pigtails and crew cuts, earmuffs and galoshes- you make snowballs in winter and skip ropes in the springtime-read comic books-consume gigantic amounts of hot dogs and popcorn. You're gradeschoolers-like school-take pride in your5' room- but rejoice when holidays roll 'round-you have a best pal-your bosom buddy-and maybe a crush on the classmate who sits in the next row. You work and play with equal passionate intensity-and a few too many freckles across the nose or the loss of a noon-hour ballgame may be a serious thing. You're busy-you're growing-and you run headlong into each golden day!
