H L r- .:.: f - - ' During all our years of high school life one of the most valuable and rewarding experiences is the publication of a yearbook. Although there are times of tribulation and indecision along with much toil and worry, every moment spent in working on the yearbook is deeply cherished. A part of every student and graduate lingers in his yearbook as it is the link between him and the wonderful by-gone days of high school. Much time is accumulated between the pages as we muse over pictures and the memories of good times return. The day we won the championship, the hard work of varsity sports, band practice, prom night and other events are all indelible because of the yearbook. Many thanks go to all those who contributed to the success of our yearbook with special' recognition to Art Editor, Pat Millerg Literary Editor, Elaine Akeg our photographer, Nevin Albrightg our advisor, Mr. Keller, and our representative from the Inter-Collegiate Press, Mr. Howe. We sincerely hope that the '59 RippleS will give you as much enjoyment as we have gained from preparing it for you. We should be interested in the future, for that is where we are going to spend the rest of our lives and high school is the best foundation for a full lifeg but we should keep surging onward to higher things and with determination we are bound to succeed. Remember: They on the heights are not the souls Who never erred nor went astray, Who trod unswerving toward their goals Along a smooth rose-bordered way. Nay! Those who stand where first comes dawn Are those who stumbled - but went on! THE EDITOR
