As the class of 1956 of Roaring Spring High prepares to leave behind high school life and go on in its Search for success, it will take along many pleasant memories. This class is composed of 41 members, each of whom has contributed to the general or extra-curricular activities of our school. In the dramatic vein, the seniors have presented two fine and much enioyed plays: Buy Juppiter in their Junior year and Our Miss Brooks in this, their senior year. In the social vein this year, they sponsored the Holly Hop , the annual Christmas party. ln both the sports and music veins the seniors play a very important role. One member of the class, Eugene Arnold, was iniured in an automobile accident and was unable to attend school until early in January, but was able to keep up on his work so that in early June, he with the rest of the Seniors, marched down the aisles to say Good-bye to their high school days. Good luck Seniors! May you find great success and happiness in the years to come. Within this class there are many students who have applied their talents in ways which have been of service and honor to their school. ln the music field the Junior Class has nine members in the band and nine members in the chorus. Ken Steele represented his school at district, county, and state band last year. In the sport field, the basketball and baseball teams have largely been domi- nated by Junior boys. This class was also well represented on the varsity football squad by three iunior boys. In the fall of the year the class sponsored the Halloween Dance, which turned out very successfully. It also sponsored the Junior and Senior prom, and presented the Junior Class play. This class has been very fortunate in the fact that they are the first class in the history of our school to be ottered a course in drivers training. We wish them much success. May they go on to serve their school to the 595' of their ability in their Senior year. Seafed Gory Kegorise, President, Dove Mock, Treasurer.
