Acknowledgments Our yearbook is an expression of many things. It is the events of the year, as well as the sentiments of many students. Most of all, it conveys the meaning of an unforgettable year to all who are a part of it. The Ro-Rap Staff has tried to combine the times shared by all-those times when laughter or tears were inevi- table, those times when study often unsuccessfully ended hours of play into a book which will mean something different to each individual. Much appreciation is given to all who have tried to make this annual what you—the students—would like it to be. The staff especially wishes to thank our advisor, Miss Belche, for her many hours of planning and hard work, beyond the call of duty; Roscoe Turner, our photographer, for his time; the various adminis- trative offices for the use of their telephones; Mr. Payne for granting us the permission to solicit ads as well as make the pictures; Mr. Denny for corrections and advice for the sports sections; Miss Crane for her patience and understanding; Mr. Branch for allowing us the privilege of the yearbook; Max Ward for his professional guidance; and last but not least, Delmar Studios for the printing of the annual. The staff sincerely hopes that this yearbook will mean something special to each and every student. But for each senior we hope the annual will provide many fond memories of one of the most unforgettable years you will ever experience— 1971. 164
