The Junior Council began its year with two projects. These were selecting monitors to regulate hall and stairway traffic between classes and having a contest for the cleanest room. The rooms were given grades, and at the end of the year the room with the highest grade was given a prize. The council decided to give an award each semester to the best citizen in Junior High, It also planned to decorate one of the old Home Ec, rooms as a permanent meeting place for the Council. Later the Junior Council worked with the Senior in revision of the Student Handbook. One of the highlights of the council's activities was their annual dance which was given in the spring.
