Although they were handicapped by many absences because of sickness, the Jackets tied the game 7 to 7. ln their last game, homecoming, the Jackets defeated Greenville. The at- tack was led by Gordon Price, Buck Harrison, and Bobby Gray. The Yellow Jackets out-played the Phantoms all the way and the final score of this triumphant homecoming game was 21 to l3. ll3 With Mr. Denny's able assistance Cameron practices for the forthcoming game. The Pam-Pack won the tilt 47 to O. The Jax's sixth game was played in Kinston. They played a very good first half, scoring two touchdowns, but Kinston retaliated to win 34 to lf-1. The following game was played here against Oxford. Everything seemed to go right for the Jackets in this game, passing, receiving, and running, and they won 25 to O.
