Next the Yellow Jackets traveled to Ahoskie where they out-played the Indians all the way. Buck Wilson caught a pass on the twenty-yard line, and Bobby Gray ran the touchdown which clinched the game for the Jackets with a score of 6 to O. Roanoke Rapids played its next game at home with New Bern. The Yellow Jackets tried hard but their lack of experience proved fatal and New Bern won 20 to O. lll

The Pam-Pack won the tilt 47 to O. The Jax's sixth game was played in Kinston. They played a very good first half, scoring two touchdowns, but Kinston retaliated to win 34 to lf-1. The following game was played here against Oxford. Everything seemed to go right for the Jackets in this game, passing, receiving, and running, and they won 25 to O.
