The Moderns, directed by Senior Roddy Wood, are now in their eighth year. They have come to be known as one of the best high school dance bands in the state. The sound of the band has been compared to that of Les Brown's orches- tra. The purpose of the Moderns is to provide experience in playing dance music for members of the regular bond who are interested in it.
