q?'f +--uf. xxx YY U CARITAS UMNXAVINCH' A 'l f l i ' To the Senior Class of 1961: The theme of The Key for this year: the old and the new , describes you, the school, the nation and the world. You go to college or into business. The school will soon move into a new building. The nation is under a new administration. The world recognizes new countries. In the changing times you have an important position. You are to help form and mold the new. Your Catholic schooling has given you eternal principles and formed virtuous habits. May you go forth like the Crusaders of old, fighting for your ideals. This is my prayer. God bless you! Sincerely in Christ, f jlfkj Joseph H. Hodges Auxiliary Bishop of Richmond rg Q :sz

0 R PRI CIPAL Sister Cornelius, S.C.N. We, the class of '61 will remember always with great affection our lively and lovable principal, Sister Cornelius. Her delightful charm, sparkling wit, and Bostonian accent have made her beloved to all. Sister came to us in the fall of 1959. Born in Boston, Mass., she was graduated from Nazareth College and did post-graduate work at Xavier University in Cincinnati and the Catholic University in Washington. Besides her duties as principal, Sister teaches Senior Government, French, and Latin. For the ensuing pages we owe her a debt of gratitude, for without her help they would not have been possible. Her patience and devotionto everyone at R.C.H. is a wonderful example of the Mary- like qualities she possesses. We will never forget you Sister, and we can never thank you enough for being, above all else, our friend. 12
