THE TEAM AS A WHOLE Mrs. William Berry, a newpersonality at Roanoke Catholic this year, coached our varsity and junior varsity girls' basketball teams. The season included participation in the City League against Jef- ferson, Andrew Lewis, William Byrd, and William Fleming, by both Varsity and JV. The highlight of the season was the annual Knights of Columbus Tournament in Richmond, February 24-26. A rol- licking time was had by all. Underlying this year's games were many hours of strenuous practice. After several unfortunate games, the players were found dreaming of luscious hamburgers, but more realistically munching on orange rinds. Our thanks to Mrs. Berry for all she has done for R.C.H. and may her succeeding years be filled with success and happiness. 97
