L. A. CRAVENS, Principal Mr. Cravens is really the senior member of the faculty at Roanoke High. lt was twenty-five years ago that he first came to Roanoke, after receiving his Bachelors degree from Bradley University, and his Masters degree from the University of Illinois. During the years he has spent here, Mr. Cravens has taught industrial arts, biology, and boys' physical education, it is probably as Coach' that our graduates remember him best. Now Mr. Cravens has taken over a new task- os principal of Roanoke High School. We wish him as successful years in the future as he has had in 'l952- 53. CLYDE C. CORN, Superintendent Mr. Corn became the superintendent of schools of Roanoke-Benson Unit District 60 in 1952. He attended Oakland City College, Indiana State College, and Ball State Teachers College, where he received his Masters degree. Before coming here, he was superin- tendent of schools at Mount Zion. During his year here, Mr.Corn has made many friends and accomplished much, keeping our school a smooth-running unit, and overseeing the administration of the two grade schools and two high schools at Roanoke and at Benson. Mr. Corn has been working on other special proiects, such as getting the plans for the new gymnasium and classroom building underway.
