It's a magic word in the list of America's Natural Resources . . . And, such an important part of your everyday life. Wood even played a big part in your education. The books you read . . . The paper you wrote on . . . Even the clothes some of you wore were made from trees. In the future you will be a tremendous consumer of wood and wood products. Now that school days ore over, what are your plans? Will you go to college, learn a trade, or be a farmer? Regardless of what vocation you choose, you should consider the profit and security which go hand and hand with our perpetual crop, trees. Trees are easy to plant, easy to maintain, easy to market, and are profit- able. Even if you become a business or professional person, an investment in a tree farm will eventually become a dependable source of income to you. The Hiwassee Land Company, Supplier of Pulpwood for Bowaters Southern Paper Corporation, will be glad to advise you about your forest lands and how you can qualify as a "Tree farmer."
