SOPHOMORE CLASS OFFICERS Vice-President—Stu Sievers Treasurer—Phil Rath Secretary—Marcia Hughes President—Steve Waggoner There is a feeling of eternity in youth. To be young is to be one of the immortals. There is no line drawn and we see no limits to our hopes and wishes Behold! the multi-talented sophomores Good Heavens they constantly amaze me with their talents but we don't need such dramatic examples?! as infants smile and sleep, we are infants in the cradle of our desires, and hushed into security by the roars of the universe around us—we grow up. signs sign or the symbols symbolize is strictly bad news t ? rite! signs and symbols by themselves are meaningless, they need people to give them power to speak, only people can give signs and symbols meanings which will after their world, permanently affect their relationships with one another. Work that seems to last an eon, Yet a night that comes too soon; Thirsty land, grown dry and drier, Humble prayer that cooling rain May save the beauty in each flower, In each drooping head of grain. Still, if there be toil or leisure. Whether there be wrong or right. Heavenward the graceful swallows Fling their free, exultant flight.
