Amazed, he went to Cornell, and studied four years in the Agricultural Department. After this he went. back to his home where I reckon he row buying everything in sight, just because he might happen to need it sometime. Crooks started to take a literary course at Amherst, but something changed his mind at the end of the first year, and he went to Yale Sheff. At Sheff. he took up Chemistry and Physics, specializing in fatty acids. At the end of his second year at Sheff. he was awarded his degree for an excellent thesis on the l reservation of Fat During Xlfarm XVeather.
