Seven years ago Riverview High School was little more than a communityis dream and the sketches of Paul Ru- dolph, the architect. This dream materialized into one of todayis leading high schools. First there was a field, and then there were buildings. But Riverview did not come to life until the fall of 1958 when these buildings became a school. The students and teachers created character and personality for our high school. In the past six years Riverview has under- gone changes and improvements. This year, 1963-1964, as the Senior Class graduates, some of Riverviewis first students will be leaving. The Class of 1964 has the unique distinction of including the students who helped Riverview to begin as seventh grad- ers in 1958. Truly, 1964 marks the end of the beginning. The 1964 TARTAN is therefore dedicated to the honor of Riverview High School and the many people who helped in its beginning. A Building .....
