ART CLUB The Art Club, sponsored by Mr. Bowen, has been organ- ized to stimulate an interest in such phases of art as draw- ing, painting, posters and displays. This year ' s club was re- sponsible for the Greek architecture br ought to the scene at the Homecoming Coronation. The officers are: Gail Pe- terson, President; Lynn Bruner, Vice-President; Becky Morris, Secretory-Treasurer. AUDIO-VISUAL CLUB The Audio-Visual Club, sponsored by Mr. Chickering, serv- ices Riverview by operating projectors, tape recorders and amplifiers in any activity in which they ore needed. Audio- Visual librarians assist the faculty, issue filmstrips, and help maintain equipment. The officers are: Dave Spray, President; Georgia Dalton, Vice-President; Joe Heckenkamp, Secre- tary.

STUDENT COUNCIL The Student Council, comprised of elected members from the Building Council, is the voice of the student body toward the fac- ulty and administration. School Spirit ond Pride have always been promoted by the council as they sponsored the Get Acquainted Dance, school elections, and Student-Faculty Night. This year ' s council, in a new approach, faced the returning student body in September with a highly spirited campaign. Everyone at Riverview really d;d feel they had the Biggest. Best, ond Proudest Riverview High! This same spirit continued as the council sponsored a Sadie Hawkins Day Dance, a turnabout when girls invited boys. An Alumni Return was held the week of Christmas vacation, in which college attending alumni were requested to offer advice to college bound Seniors. A visitation exchange was again sponsored by Riv- erview with McCluer High School in order to offer a broader un- derstanding between the schools with on opportunity for on ob- jective look from both points of view BUILDING COUNCIL

LIBRARY ASSISTANTS The Library Club, sponsored by Mrs. Morgan and Mrs. Maupin, is responsible for the fine librory standards maintained at Riverview. Besides the responsibility of keeping books and magazines in order and collecting fines, these assistants odd much to the efficient functioning of our library. Officers are Judy Fritsch, Presi- dent; Roberta Marks Vice-President; Lois Smith, Secretary.
