Sl -r ftf The 1964 Rams football team brought Riverview Its second consecutive winning season with an overall record of 4—3—2, and a 3—2—2 mark in the Sub- urban Big 10 Though our Rams were highly spirited throughout the season, they found on extra supply of energy as they came through undefeated in their last five games. One of these five games was the Homecoming battle with U City, which ended in a 0-0 tie. At the end of the season Rams Football Awards were presented to John Wilson, Most Improved Player, Randy Freedmon, Y, A, Turtle Award, Ken Eckert, Most Valuable Defensive Lineman; Doug Tan- ner, Most Valuable Offensive Lineman; Vv ' oyne Thuerwaechter, Most Valuable Defensive Back; Gene Ball, Most Valuable Offensive Back; Miles Merritt, Mr. Football ; and John Johnson, Captain. 131
