BARKLEY-Superintendent of Schools Mr. Barkley, our very efficient and busy superintendent, attended S.M.S. in Springfield, and Kansas State College of Pittsburg. I-Ie holds the Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts Degrees in Education from K . S. C. He has accumulated 32 years of experience in guiding and working with young people, and assisting teachers with their problems, He has been an Administrator for eleven years . Mr. Barkley believes that every boy and girl in our community has a right to the kind of education that will enable him to live more effectively in our Democracy - - The Riverton Board of Educa- tion and our faculty strive constantly to make this goal a reality. Bill Sweeten Mr. SWeeten's family consists of three daughters, Mary Ann, who is in the Fifth Grade, Brenda jo, who is in the First Grade, and Rebecca Lynn, who is two years old, and his wife, Patsy Lou. He was born and attended school in Picher. Then he moved to Miami Where he taught English, Speech and journalism. He received his Bachelor of Science and Master's Degrees from Kansas State College.
