x ,.,,'1 Q FUTURE URSES Although the Future Nurses are a small organization. they are very active and work hard towards some day attaining their goal. The project of the club this year was working, in shifts, at the hospital as nurses aids. Their work consisted of helping the nurses, cleaning the rooms, delivering meals to patients and learning the correct way to take temperatures and pulse. Mary Griffin was the chapter president. The purpose of this organization is to promote interest in home economics and to realize the importance of home and family life. The club colors are red and white and the motto is: 4'Toward New Horizons. Four members. Mary Griffin. Carol Carper. Mary Gilster. and Judy Connell, attended the state meeting at Laramie. Some major actixities for the year were a bake sale. a dance. and a sale of Carrot sticks at some of the ballgames. The Future Homemakers had a banquet at which the F.l7.:X. buys serxed. Dirk Oarnall was c-hosen PHA. Beau. Xlr. Connell. Mrs. Fhepherd. Mr. Carper. and Mr. Griffin were elected Chapter Mother and Fathers.
