GR DE The Class of 1965 has opportunity in store for it. This class is the largest of anv in the high school with 190 students. This class will have the-privilege of being the first eighth grade going into the new Riverton Junior High. This vearis Seventh Graders will have the responsibility of setting good traditions, organizing the activitiesi and providing the leadership which will be the guide in this new building for the oncoming classes. The activities of the l960 Seventh Graders covered a wide field. The Seventh Grade provided members for the Junior High football. basketball. and track teams. The class competed in the interesting. highly competitive intramural program. Two Junior High cheerleaders and one twirler were selected from the Seventh Grade. Three members of the student council represented the class. The Seventh Grade also entered a float. Lets Land on Landerf' in the Homecoming Parade. The Class of '65 also had two colorful dancing parties during the vear. One was held in the fall and the other was in the spring. The Riverton High Schools Science Fair was dominated by the Seventh Grade. which sent ten winners to the District Fair in Powell and two entered the State com- petition i11 Casper.
