Some of their 1959-60 ar-tivities included: a demonstration of tumbling and trampoline work at half-time during the Lovell basketball game. and such individual and team sports as softball. basketball, volleyball. swimming. tumbling. and trampolining. EIGHTH GRADE The officers of the Eighth Grade Class for 1959-60 are: President, Gary Von Krosigkg Vice-President. Evertt Befus: Secretary. Carol Davis: Treasurer. Alan Hardy. Deena Sackman and Ricky Scott represented the class in Student Council. Mrs. Mote. Mr. Lyman. and Mr. Porter were the class sponsors this year. The Class of 1964 with 150 pupils. has completed a most successful year. The Eighth Grade had a-float 'Swat Out Landeri' in the Home Coming Parade. The Jr. High had a highly successful basketball season. They received third place in tournament and several were chosen for the all-tournament team. Vicke Hiemsoth and Carol Lee Isom were the eighth grade cheerleaders. There were also four twirlers from this class.
