DRAMATICS It is customary for each of the four classes to give a class play. Each student has a chance to try out for the part for which he is best suited. The sponsors select the cast, stage crew, make-up director, prompters, and ushers. In addition to the class plays, this year the students have been given the opportunity of taking individual lessons and taking part in class instruction in the field of elocution under the qualified supervision of Mrs. Adelia Clark. Mrs, Clark has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dramatics and Commerce from Pitts- burg, and has an outstanding record of achievement. Speaking before audiences in either a school play or a reading gives the students a chance to learn to speak correctly and helps to develop poise. balance, and confidence in the individual. The money received from the class plays is placed in the class activity fund and is used for the various class activities and to help with the high school annual. Electron Paar Twenty-fa
