From our telephone company has evolved a much greater system in l9'57-38 which is the R. H. S. Telegraph Company. Comprised of forty live wires of American youths th.y h ve been guided by the operators Miss Stairrett and Mr. Barnes and ably assisted by' a board of directors: Bob Lowther, President: James Wooten Vice-president: Lola Mae McClure, Secretary and Virginia Byrd Treasurer. VN e have accomplished great feats in our period of service in scholastic, extra-curricular and social enterprises: Class play. Cyclone Sally : girls glee club, eleven members: band, eight members: orchestra, eleven mem- bers: volley ball, four members: girls' quartet. two members and honor roll, five members. Our outstanding social activities were a treasure hunt and hamburger fry at Schifferdecker park. a Halloween party, a Valentine party: climaxed with a class picnic. As we must progress with the times. we have sold our interests in the R. H. S. Telegraph Company' and have purchased the R. H. S. Radio Company' which we will operate September l, 1938.
