Float Fun This year's float building changes seemed to be truly successful. Due to the city's shortening the number of units al- lowed in the parade, clubs were encour- aged to double-up in float construction. This, in addition to stricter rules regarding the use of diesel rigs and long flatbeds, helped class and club members make more creative tloats than in past years. The brave, or gullible students and families who sponsored float building at their homes, telephones, tools, and food for their organizations, were to be commend' ed. 1. The awesome senior float, lst place winner be- cause of its obvious superiority, travels down the road blowing smoke from its cigar. 2. On a clear day, the enthusiastic cheerleaders receive an unexpected shower. 3. With Scott Pinalto Cl lj looking for something to eat, Cathy Endo C125 works diligently to finish the Koa1afSpot1ight third place float. 4. Cheery Alice, Thea Norman Cl lj is obviously very happy in her little wonderlandg unfortunately, the mouth above her decided to eat her half way through the parade. 5. These band members, Liann Lech Cl ZH, Lori Christoplis Cl2D, and Michelle Fried- rich C121 show their enthusiasm at the Homecoming picnic. 6. Clueless to the realities of life are Jennifer McNei1Cl 21, Lea Appletontl QD, and Martha Den- ham C121 work diligently filling Helium Balloons for the Senior Class, as Jennifer McNeil C l 25 looks on. 7. Through many hours of intense work and good advise by adviser Mr. Rice, the Senior float is made possible. 2 2 X Homecoming LIMIT ELIU M Q- 'li-P' PILL!-Timm:
