Luiuilni f 1 ' -1 7 2. F if i l 1- l Stud nt Life As students returned to the grind, many found that their horrible night- mares of homework, lectures, and sleepless nights had come true. Fortu- nately, these nightmares were balanced by the wide variety of activities pro- vided for the students. Cnce again, lunch became the favorite period of the day during which students had a chance to sit back and view the differ- ent fads and fashions or, for the more competitive type, participate in such in- tramurals as hot wheels, three-man vol- leyball, and arm wrestling. After school body builders participated in jazzer- cize, health spas, surfing, dance, and many other activities. As Homecoming drew near, there was a mad rush to fin- ish floats and plan for the Homecoming parade, picnic and dance. With Home- coming at an end, students resumed their everyday routine and reminisced about the festivities. The Seniors real- ized the time had come to start planning for the future. College Day provided Seniors and other students with an op- portunity to meet representatives from different colleges. l.
