Angel. When You Comin ' Back. Red Ryder was the second production of Poly Theatre. It was performed m the newly opened Studio One. The show ran in repetory with Of Mice and Men. and was set in a peaceful diner in New Mexico. The date was the early 60 ' s. All was well that Sunday morning until the arrival of Teddy and Cheryl, a young couple en route to Mexico. The Stars Came The production of Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck differed from the rest of the shows. Page Miller, who has acted professionally herself, directed the Poly rendition of this play. It is the story of a special friendship between Lennie, a young retarded man, and George, his friend and protector.
