Name Of The Game + David Pooley and Finn Comer prove that height IS a big advantage at the net Bob Bushman and Bob Ritzau are always near to make sure things go smoothly. IBtltCijfiJ i Poly began an Intramural program this year. The idea came from Bob Ritzau and Bob Bushman, and they ran all the events. The freethrow tournament was won by Walt Linaweaver. Backgammon was won by David Eckmann in the advanced and Jeff Meachem in the novice division. Volleyball advanced division was won by Bob Bushman and Coach Almquist and David Pooley and Finn Comer took the novice division. Danny Metsch won the frisbee golf tournament. Events held during 4th quarter included: water polo, baseball, chess, tennis, ping- pong, and frisbee. Winning Is The The Spirit Week, sponsored by the Pep Squad, was held during the week ot March 12-16. Monday was pajama day and events included blindfold contest and bottle drinking. Tuesday was twin day and events included a 3-legged race and a yogurt toss. Wednesday was surfer day and events included a skateboard contest and an egg toss. Thursday was crazy hat day and there was a pie eating contest and kiss-a-pig. Friday was 50 ' s day and there was a dance that evening. The Sophomores won with 58 points, the Freshmen followed with 52, Juniors had 47, and the Seniors pulled through with 31. The Pep Squad models next years uniforms as they conduct lunch time activities. [■. ' ' [ n 20 Jeff Frencn. Robby Albrecht. Kevin Boling, and Rod Muller quickly fumble with their cards as a girl in a skimpy bikini goes by. Gordy Pulsifer receives a standing ovation as he roles down the aisle on surfer day. Mr. Cummings proves that even teachers get involved in Spirit Week Alyssa Charkow yells at Sue Richardson for getting her colors mixed up. while Michele Miller and Patty Robinson look away in disgust.
