Landis, Superintendent of Schools: Mrs. Gladys T. Babcoc Lewis P Alabaster, and Mrs. Marie Bonnett. Through unfortunate extenuating circumstances, the School Board was unable to start its l95l building plan for Poly, but, as always, they stood behind all school policies and gave support to our many activities. Their hard work to maintain good teachers and desirable conditions should be especially commended, as it is completely voluntary and at times without proper thanks. flax Le. .. With every good endeavor might be the motto of the Parent-Teachers Association. Besides the traditional purpose of promoting better relations between teachers and parents, this year's P.-T. A. Board co-sponsored the dad-son night baseball game and the annual fashion show honoring mothers. There were also welfare work and such humanitarian incidentals as providing money, glasses, and supplies where they would do the most good. Could it be found in the last Spanish test given by Mr. Booth? Will it be found between two musty pages of a neglected history book? Traditionally, in this paragraph, we're supposed to claim our laziness, but let's face it! There's a lot of work involved in putting out an annual, especially this choice mystery edition of the dear old Koala. It's been fun, though, between Walter's ever-ready wit and Mr. Adams bellowing, If anyone touches these things, mayhem will be wrought! Dimensioning, cuts, copy all year long, with nothing guaranteed but an aching head crowned with quite a few grey hairs! Mr. Adams, yearbook advisor, and Mr. Dixon, photographic advisor, appear amused at a picture for the Koala. To the dungeons! better known as room 12. Whenever you were lucky enough to have your picture taken for this Koala, chances are one of these photographers was on the other side of the birdie. In the first picture, head photographer Barbara Linthicum seems to be having difficulty getting Harold Bodie, another camera wielder, to cooperate. In the second picture Ierry Caldwell explains the confusing mechanism ot a camera to Bar- bara Latta and Bonita Carlson. w..,,.J ...msn-lf,,,,.. w,,.. 4 Wu' 5 'Xa-s ff 1 I BAND MEMBERS Left to right: Braly, Fox, Fletcher, Lawrence, Lamb, Cooper, McClellan, Strain, Morse, Bliss, Naugle, Cox, Robbins, Stiles, Bowman, Brewer, Bell, Gall, Myers, Meyst, Denning, Leuker, Pena, Walters: MacDonald, Keith, Rendell, Miller, Gall, Banister, Casem, Alexander, McGinty, Pauley, Beckwith, Yoder, Schnur, Fields, Starr, Russ, Espinoso, Groom, Parker, Marder, Simmons, Hohbard, Homrig- hausen.
