Karen had been an active mem- ber ol' a variety of organizations lor the past four years. I4 adventures Lou Nociti accepts the Nolder-Devine trophy with great pride at the l974 Homecoming dance held in the Riverside gymnasium this year. Hl'lOlIl0COlT1lllg was a real success this year. The guys played great in the game and the classes worked hard on their floats. Even the dance had a big turnout. -Cathy Eubank Class of '78 shows the crowd that they have plenty of chocolate chips and even a lot more spirit to spread. f

Open campus brings about iob opportunities Taking advantage of choosing their schedules under the open cam- pus system, many students held part time jobs after school. Job holders, consisting of mostly juniors and seniors, usually worked at area establishments such as lVlc- Donaldis or Macmillanis. Others worked in shopping centers during the holiday season. Several students used their free time in a variety home and school projects. Being able to leave school earlier made it easier to get baby- sitting jobs. 'iWhen not in school, football in the park is next best. -Kevin Prickett With a large crowd at the juniors, dance Bob Stone and Tina Sarlo dance to the sound of Color My Worldfa Ed Chambers, a member of the junior class, quickly turns his head to the cam- era just in time to catch a smile. 16 adventures During leisure time groups gather around Strouse's Store to fill their ears with daily gossip and relieve the tensions of teachers and schoolwork. Surrounded by poinsettias, Senior Mike Migliaccio, an employee at Kenney's Flowers, tries to help Betty Hackert choose the right gift to give to her mother for Christmas. ..
