For These sessions, sTudenTs wiTh a common inTeresT or problem meT To discuss iT wiTh one oT The guidance counselors. Mr. Jerome Reeber, The new addiTion To The counseling sTaTT, arranged numerous conTerences during The year. Many college represenTaTives visiTed Riverside To give sTudenTs inTormaTive glances inTo universiTy liTe and To help Them decide on The career and college besT suiTed To Their desires. Along wiTh guidance counselor Mrs. Ellen MarTin, head oT The deparTrnenT, and Mrs. BeTTy l-larringTon, Mr. Reeber also obTained inTormaTion abouT scholarships and loans Tor college bound pupils. For Those sTudenTs whose plans did noT include college, The deparTmenT provided guesT speakers from business Tirms and com- mercial schools. Besides helping The seniors wiTh Their plans, The counselors were always available To give advice To Troubled sTudenTs.
