,...,,nK SENATE STUDENT EITIZENSHIP LEAGUE The Senate 1S composed of ten members tour Seniors three Iuniors two Sophomores and one Freshman who are elected by their respective classes Mr Carson is the advisor The Senate 1S 1nterested prlnclpally in developing the character of the students and in maintaining the h1gh standards of the school The offlcers tor the year were Pres1dent George Yoest Secretary Charlotte Reeves The House of Representatives was based on an entirely new plan last year Sophornores Next year eight members of the 1944 class Will be elected to fill the places vacated by this years Seniors The members are elected by the students of the1r homerooms Mr Bookbinder is the advisor The House tried to get the students 1d9GS and make them Work it Was also in charge of the pep rallies The officers were Speaker Richard McCormick Secretary Ruth Malecki In November members ot the Student C1t1zensh1p League partrcipated in the State Council ot Student Governments which was held this year at Glassboro Sta e Teachers College l HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES There were twenty-tour members: eight Seniors, eight Iuniors, and eight 1 .
