Music Department Is Indispensable t Riverside High School, there are both musical and choral organizations that have remained fore- most in the activities of the students. These two organizations have produced outstanding singers and musicians. These two groups also have made our special assemblies more enioyable. One of these musical organizations is the band under the able and excellent guidance of Mr. Harold Hull. The band has again completed another successful year. Since the beginning of this school year, it has been playing for our assemblies and for our games. The band also plays our favorite football songs in the fall. In the spring, the band gives a performance in the form ofa concert, an event which everyone eagerly awaits.This year's concert holds the some expectations as the ones in the past. We again congratulate the band on another successful year and hope it continues in the same way in the future. The orchestra is an organization at Riverside which is not so well appreciated as it should be. Under the supervision of Mr. Harold Hull, the orchestra is a living part of the music department. Riverside is one of the few high schools in Buffalo which still has the services of an orchestra.
