CWB, the Class of l95O, have traveled together for the past four years and have now reached a parting of the ways. Each one of us, individually, must decide which path he will follow and what course he will pursue. Let us choose wisely, for there will be no turning back. There's an unknown trail-- but we'll take it. It's a steep hard trail-- who's afraid? There are deep sharp chasms to walk byg No one's hands can aid. Follow, follow, the far trail seems to say, Follow, comrade, follow, and you'll make the peak today! --Mary Carolyn Davies

Class Of 1950 THOUGHTS AT PARTING As graduation time draws near, We stand here side by sideg Now must we leave the friends so dear We've made at Riverside. The Purple and the Gold we leave, From school we must depart, The memory of the days gone by Will linger in our hearts. The highway that before us lies, ls yet to us unknown, Although we leave the friends we love, We do not go alone. Some friends will travel at our side, To cheer us on our way, And memories fond of days of youth Within our hearts will stay. The record of our high school days, We close with golden lock, For no one yet has learned a way Of turning back the clock. Before us lie the pages white Of a volume bright and new, In which each one of us may write The things he hopes to do. We wish to thank, before We leave, Our teachers and our friends, For help, for guidance, and for love, And patience without end. Class of 1950, We may look back upon Our years at Riverside: Our work, our play, the deeds we've done With a feeling of great pride. --Mildred Glor 14
